Because I identified myself as more “liberal” for many years, I like words like balance, discover, empathize, and share.
Because I identify myself as more “conservative” now, I like words like balance, discover, empathize, and share.
There is a fringe right and a fringe left. I tend to consider them outside the range of those involved in healthy discussion. Closer towards the center, there are a lot of decent and intelligent people with some skewed perceptions about the other side of the divide.
I’ve been on both sides, and I’m trying to find the balance.
